我们镇上，有个叫王二的。这名字，普普通通，像路边随便一棵不大起眼的榆树。王二的人，也跟名字差不多，中等个子，面皮白净，平日里话不多，见了人微微点个头，笑一笑，露出一口整齐的白牙。他在镇农技站上班，管些花花草草，看看虫子，日子过得不咸不淡。

北京的风，据说刮到了十二级。我在单位听到这个消息的时候，正对着电脑屏幕发呆，琢磨着午饭是吃楼下的盖浇饭还是隔壁的拉面。十二级这个数字听起来很厉害，像是个将军的军衔，透着一股不容置疑的权威。但我当时没太当回事，北京嘛，春天刮点风是例行公事，像老太太的唠叨，听多了也就习惯了。顶多就是头发乱点，脸上多点土，权当是免费的磨砂护理。

I found out the parcel was lost on a gloomy afternoon.
