Liu Qiang opened his computer, and the words "Welcome to Myawaddy" popped up on the screen. It was his first day at his new company, and he was a little excited. He had previously worked 996 at an internet company, working himself to the bone with a low salary, but this time he finally made a successful job switch. The new company not only offered double the pay but also had overseas work opportunities, which was a dream come true.

He looked around. It was a spacious office with computers neatly arranged, and colleagues were all busy typing on their keyboards. The environment was much better than he had imagined. He had heard that Myanmar was very chaotic, but it seemed that the rumors were not true.

Lunchtime arrived, and the food in the cafeteria was not bad, with three dishes and a soup, and even fruit. Colleagues were chatting and laughing, and the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. Liu Qiang quickly integrated into the group.

In the afternoon, the manager assigned him a task, and Liu Qiang began to concentrate on his work. He was a programmer in charge of developing a chat software. It was a piece of cake for him, and he quickly completed the task. The manager was very satisfied and praised his efficiency, saying that he would give him a bonus.

Days went by, and Liu Qiang's life in Myawaddy was orderly. He went to work and got off work on time every day. In his spare time, he played games and chatted with his colleagues. The company also organized team-building activities and trips to the beach, which made Liu Qiang feel that his life was particularly fulfilling. He felt like he had come to heaven.

One day, Liu Qiang turned on his computer as usual and continued to develop the chat software. He suddenly noticed that the user interface of the software was a bit strange. The chat partners were all strangers he didn't know, and their conversations were very consistent: first, they would express concern, then they would start to entice the other party to invest, gamble, or recommend some high-return "projects".

Liu Qiang felt that something was wrong. He checked the code carefully and found that it was not a chat software at all, but a scam software. He felt a chill. It turned out that the thing he had developed was a tool for harming people.

He quietly asked his colleagues beside him, "What we're doing, is it not quite right?"

The colleague looked at him with the eyes of a fool, then patted him on the shoulder, and said with a grin, "Bro, you're only just figuring it out now? This is high technology, we make our fortune with it!"

Only then did Liu Qiang realize that everything was an illusion. It was not an overseas job at all, but a carefully constructed trap, and he was a pawn in this trap. He looked back out the window. The sky in Myawaddy seemed particularly gloomy. At this moment, he suddenly remembered the line on the screen when he first joined the company: "Welcome to Myawaddy." These words sounded so ironic and desperate now.
